Cleaning out my Keurig coffee maker.

i usually use vinegar. one time i didn't get all the cleaner out of it and got really sick.
I always use white vinegar too. Natural. descales. removes mineral deposits. good for the environment. Inexpensive.
won't make you sick.

Put how much white vinegar in coffee maker?
Fill the tank like you would with water.
Run the machine one cup at at time like you would when you make coffee until the tank is empty.
I usually save the vinegar that ran through the machine` to clean my sink, etc. Just to make use of it.
Then repeat this process with clean water to flush out the vinegar.

i would start with 1/2 a cup of vinegar. i mix mine with the remaining amount of water that will fit in the tank and start the machine. i let it brew for a few seconds to bring the vinegar and water mix into the line and then turn it off and let it sit for 15 min. then restart it and let it finish brewing. then send 2 or 3 more rounds of water through giving it 5-10 min in between each round. then smell the tank. if it no longer smells like vinegar you are good. i then wash the tank if your able. if not then wipe it out.
