A Cleveland judge found police innocent of manslaughter after firing 137 shots at unarmed suspects in car after a chase. The suspects were hit about 2 dozen times each.

Now, a police chase precipitated the shooting BUT shouldn't the police be responsible to act in a calm professional manner rather than acting like an adrenaline filled junky. The police are supposed to be a paramilitary which means discipline and the ability to show restraint. But this is not what we are seeing from police all over the country.

Hopefully peaceful protests ensue and not violent protests.

No, didn't you know, they make their own rules dammit, cease and desist and or you die. Maybe every so often, in one or two cases a price will be paid, but, more often than not, just another day on the street, so it seems.

It's not surprising that judge rendered this verdict. A judge is a political position and there for makes judges politicians protecting the status quo and their butts/career. BUT it also seems that charged incorrectly trying to pin the whole thing on one officer. Perhaps lesser charges on all police who fired shots would've been more appropriate. The way prosecutors over charge is just as bad as the excessive force police and other criminals are accused of using.
