Cleveland kidnapper kills himself

I just saw on the news that the convicted kidnapper who held and abused the three girls in Cleveland has been found dead in his cell. They said that he hanged himself.
Even though I am not surprised that he didn't survive long in prison, I am surprised that they left him with something that he could use to hang himself.
The last I had heard, which was a while back, I guess, was that they had him on a suicide watch for just this reason.
I would think that this will help to give the girls who went through this for all those years some finalness to this, and closure, as the term is nowdays.
 

This piece of less than sad news just broke here too. Whoever let him go did him a kindness. More than just him too. I hope they let it slide, sometimes bad things are for the best all round.
 
What a gutless wonder doing himself in, i mean he tortured ,raped and brutilised those poor girls for 10 years and he couldn't even spend a few months in jail, what a whimp, good riddance to the worst scum of the earth
 

He must have known what was in store for him if he remained in prison.

He would have had to request solitary as other inmates would have liked to make his acquaintance.
 
Stumbled on this on Imgur, some of the commenters are right, we needed to hear more about this man. He's a gem.
