Coffee cures alcoholism

I was a member of the board of directors of a General Dynamics charity organization. We used to visit our charities personally to look in to the operation. At more than one substance abuse center we heard that the alcoholics "substitute" was usually coffee.

Exercise also creates a dopamine experience but it looks better if one drops dead from a heart attack while jogging than from sitting and drinking coffee. If I were an ex-drug addict, shopping would be my replacement vise. It's the rush baby! The rush!

I have read about all the pros and cons over the years and I don't care. I drank it, still drink it and plan to always drink it; hot or iced.

AC, I've been known to nurse a cup of coffee for hours. Yes it gets cold. Doesn't matter to a die hard coffee person.

My memory hasn't completely failed---I can always remember there is a cup of unfinished coffee somewhere in the house. Just can't always remember where I left it.
