They aren't giving up on this. I hope it has a fairy tale ending but doubt it, sadly. Still, any closure would be better than none for her parents and family. Let's hope that the UK cops are better at detective work than the Portuguese, it seems to have been an investigative farce from day one.

I remember that case...some were blaming the parents, of course. We wondered if she were kidnapped and/or sold. I do hope they find her alive and unharmed, but it doesn't sound good.

I'm with you on this one Di......the Portuguese cops? did zilch.....I do hope they find out what happened to Maddie.....those poor parents......not knowing must be devastating for them.....but I also don't hold much hope for her still being alive....I just hope I'm wrong....:indecisiveness:

The case is so very sad, the idiot Police that investigated it when it happened should be shot, they stuffed the investigation and have made it so hard to find her, all we can do is hope & pray she is still alive, my gut says no.:notfair:

Missing child cases are just so sad, and most of them remained unresolved, which makes it more depressing.
