I am a 57 year old woman and experiencing a lot of disease right now.
First, was the anal fissure that is going to last more then a year now.

Now in my upper lip have big 'ball' sore (maybe).
It started like cold sore but then was infected .Visit to the doctor and she gave me Gentamicine cream.Used for a week (7 days) and infection was gone but now it becomes red and it is not going to go.
I feel very bad and shame of my self .I haven't been outside my home for month now because of anal fissure irritates and my lip looks terrible.
Please check the photo attached and if anyone could help me or advise me will be welcome .

Hi Hilary. Welcome to the forum. We are close in age. I’m a bit older than you.
My suggestion is go and see a doctor.
You also might want to take an all natural antibiotic. Perhaps oil of oregano capsules for a month or two in replace or dangerous antibiotics. You clearly have some type of infection going on.
Be sure to keep the idea clean and dry as much as possible. Im a holistic nutritionist so prefer the natural ways of healing but listen to your doctor first.
Good luck Hilary and enjoy the forum. We are a nice bunch here. :welcome:

Wow, that looks nasty! You would be well advised to head straight to the doctor...perhaps even to a dermatology specialist, ASAP. That could be anything from a parasitic infection to skin cancer.

That doesn't look like a cold sore, but I'm not a doctor.

Please see a doctor immediately. If the doctor isn't sure what it is, go to a dermatologist.

Welcome to the forum, Hilary. I hope you feel better!

And I’m not meaning to scare you but it very well could be cancerous . Luckily these days they have very safe and effective ways of removing them with minimum pain. A doctor might refer you to a dermatologist to get a biopsy done just to rule out cancer.
Cancerous cells regenerate far quicher than regular cells. I had a sore on my arm that I had for years that didn’t go away. Hangs head in shame, like maybe 12 ! Once it started morphing into different shapes , getting redder and more irritated I went to my family doctor and asked to see a dermatologist . After looking at it under a high powered magnifying glass the dermatologist immediately froze it and removed it surgically right there in the office. She’s a great doctor.
That sore healed up and never came back. Dons answer made me want to add this as I think it might be relevant.
So make an appointment as soon as possible.

Hi Hilary and welcome from New Jersey. I think a dermatologist would be best for your problem. If you go to a regular GP he might fool around with more meds that won't work or send you to a specialist anyway. Save time and money and go right to the dermatologist. You will probably have to wait forever for an appointment anyway. Best to get the ball rolling as quick as possible.

See this is where our health services in Canada differ from yours in the United States. Here in Canada we have to first go to a family doctor to get a referral first. We can’t just can’t just call specialists like dermatologists and book our own appointment like you can. She doesn’t say where’s she’s from but going directly to a dermatologist is best.

Thank you all for your comments .
Just diagnosed it and the doctor said it is Granuloma pyogenic .
She said to take a surgery .But,I am afraid and want to try with home remedies .
Have read some material and some recommend apple vinegar or garlic .
Now if anyone has tried before please can confirm if I can try with apple vinegar

Best regards.

It's doubtful that any "home remedy" will get rid of this growth. If you are not careful, it could burst and cause a lot of bleeding....before you get to the emergency room. Your best bet is to schedule what should be a minor surgery, before it becomes more serious.

OP: I would get good attention to this issue, you don't want to deal with a horrible infection.

My mother used to get cold sores and colds all her life and when she got on Grape Seed Extract when she was about 85, that's how old she was when I got on it and loved my results and got her on it...she NEVER got another cold sore or cold...she did pass at 91 but no more cold sores....why not look into this antioxidant once you get this issue resolved, whatever it is.

Grape Seed Ex has anti viral, anti bacterial, anti fungal properties and I've been taking it going into my 24th yr. And I'm 80, started with it at 57.

Good wishes with your issue.

I take hardly any drugs and I'd love to be off BP meds...

But it isn’t a cold sore. It’s something far more serious that I’m not sure Grape seed extract could cure

Keesha, read my note to OP please..I said when things are resolved. Think about getting on Grape Seed Ex for future and if OP does get cold sores, it could stop that issue.

I'm not saying get on to cure the current issue. I did NOT say that. jam

Make an appointment with a dermatologist and get that thing removed ASAP. It sounds like a relatively simple procedure with local anesthesia. You can bathe in apple cider vinegar, smell like a salad, and still have that thing on your mouth.

THIS!!! ^^

Hilary, I don't know how you can stand to have that thing on you. It's going to get worse, bigger, more grotesque. Get.it.removed.

I missed the ‘once you get this issue resolved’ part in the post but I’ll still stick with present moment thinking in a solution to it NOW since it’s more important.
