Spent almost my entire working life in sales and customer service, but could never bring myself to utilize methods that I considered devious and under-handed. One was called the "dominant eye theory". where you discover if a person is right or left handed, that will be their dominant eye. While talking to them, stare directly into that eye and the person will almost always be unable to look away until you stop your stare..... I found it a funny party trick and told them exactly what I was doing while doing it and their attention seemed to be so incredibly focused, they were still unable to look away.... Give it a try, but only in non-business situations.... Karma, you know?.....
