Concerts, bands, performers, can you list all the ones you've seen in person over the years?

So I've never been a fan of live music, I always preferred the quality of studio productions. But....my friends went to concerts so I went along, mostly for the party and the chick's. I never paid much attention to the music and probably can't recall many of the concerts I have been to.

Kingston Trio, Peter Paul and Mary, Jefferson Airplane, Bob Dylan.

At the Bob Dylan concert I looked around at all the people and wondered what would happen If someone yelled fire and they all started for the door. Just a few months later, in our area, was The Who concert disaster where people were crushed against the door in Cincinnati. I never wanted to go to a concert again.

I started to write some down but the list looked like I was BS-ing... I worked as an audio engineer most of my adult life so I got to work with many top name acts. I also went to many concerts through my life. What can I say - it's a way of life... lol.

Neil Diamond several times. Beach Boys several times, The Who, Sergio Mendez Brazil 66, Kenny Rogers, Shania Twain, and others :)

Just so happens I made a list for my own edification about a year ago after reflecting on how many artists I've been blessed to see over the years. I'd seen concerts at The Apollo Theater in Harlem, N.Y. when I was younger and they used to have review shows featuring several of the popular acts of the day, which is one of the reasons I saw so many performers. And of course headliners have their opening acts. Considering other concerts I've been to, I think this is all of them.

Believe it or not, the famous 'Diamond Head' on Oahu, Hawaii
hosted music festivals back in the 60's and 70's!

Most of the big Rock bands played there and was like 'Woodstock',

But With Better Weather...

The last one I saw before entering the service, was 1970 and the groups that played that year:

Big Brother and the Holding Company (Janis Joplin)
Lambert and Nuttycombe
Linda Ronstadt
Quicksilver Messenger Service
The Beach Boys

While in High School, these festivals were the highlight of year.

Santana, Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, etc.

Magical and So Peaceful...
