All weekend. All headed north. I didn't know so many people in New York were bikers.

There is an annual biker rally in Austin called the ROT Rally (ROT standing for Republic of Texas) and it's one of those weekends when I prefer to either stay in or get outta Dodge. I got nuthin' against bikers -- just noise and crowds and traffic. It's been canceled this year of course.

Don’t worry Deb, it’s ust the HELLS ANGELS

Years ago, sometimes in the 1980's, we were visiting Deadwood, South Dakota. We were walking through the town, when hundreds {possibly thousands} of motorcycles rode through. Since I had no knowledge of the Sturgis, SD motorcycle rally being held close by, it kind of freaked me out. It was SO LOUD!

When we were visiting Devil's Tower Wyoming in 2012, there were some guys on motorcycles parked next to us. The other visitors were stopping and paying close attention to them. Their leather jackets had, "Hells Angels" embroidered on them. Well, it makes sense that they would want to be at Devil's Tower, doesn't it? They minded their business and we minded ours.
