I bought these cookies for the 1st time at Aldi's, I like shortbread but these were bigger and have sugar crystals on them.
I paid $2.49 PER box at Aldi's.
I looked them up on Amazon basically for the photo to show to all of you and
Holy Cow!! Amazon has them listed (same size box, weight all of it)
$24.99 for 2 boxes! Anyway I love these cookies not so much sugar it makes me zoom

Either way, that is just nuts. They do realize that those sellers while selling are basically representing their "Name"
and it's not a good look when you see that much difference. o_O They need to re-think some structure someplace.

Now I have to wonder if Amazon, after losing those trucks in that drone strike and with
other things aren't trying to get to a point of claiming bankruptcy in the near future.
They seem to have a noose all tied and ready to go.

25 euro????? Was it not a huge package with 10 packages in it? That's crazy expensive for some cookies.

25 American dollars no, it was 2 boxes of the same size I bought one of for 2 1/2 US dollars.
I only went on Amazon to get a photo of them because I didn't want to hassle taking a pic, sending it
to PC, the lazy bug hit me, was faster to get a pic off the web.

Amazon is not a good place to buy food items any more. And other items are also pricier so you always have to check prices.

Just checked price on curry powder that I ordered a year ago. Up 50%!

I’m a fan of Aldi’s for many things but they are still not quite a one stop shop for me.

As for Amazon use them just like they try to use you, they have some good deals and IMO a superior delivery system when compared to FedEx or UPS.

same thing with my Trader Joe's organic green tea. Amazon sell 3 times the price of Trader Joe's in-store price. It's too bad that Trader Joes doesn't have online store and they don't do deliveries. So I have to go to the store in-person.

I only have certain items I stop at Aldi's for because no one else has even close to that item on the shelves.
I can buy Unsalted Sunflower Seeds for about $2.50 so I don't get all the shells in my yard for the birds.
I mix them in with the other mixed seed bags. Hubby likes their frozen burger patties with the cheese in them.
But over all shopping same here Aunt Bea
