My dog likes walking around in the bathtub water for awhile then she wants to jump out. After I dry her off she tears through the apartment like a hurricane

I've been told that Pugs can't even swim because the shape of their body and their weight distribution make them totally sinkable. Some pug mixes can, though, if the mix gives them a slimmer chest, or longer legs, or a neck (etc.).

I once had a Cocker Spaniel that love to swim underwater and retrieve stuff. He was amazing.
