Corn on the cob in April!

It is flown in from Florida to RI and we are cobbling it up. Fresh corn wasn't available until the native came in August until recently, so we are happy campers. Hope your food supply is as good as ours...

we had some two days ago and it was good and we wondered where it came form....we are in Michigan

And the beauty of it is that once the Florida corn gives out we get it from Georgia!

NOw I want some.. We used to grow sweet corn at our other house... really delish when you can pick it out of your yard and eat it 5 minutes later. You cannot imagine how sweet it is..

You won't be disappointed. Just make sure to peel back the leaves and make sure that the kernels are fresh...

That is interesting. I have nuked frozen corn on the cob before, but never seen that. I will give it a shot.

The part that interests me is that all the silks stay inside the husk and no threads on the corn.. I'm going to try it tonight..

We have fixed our corn like this for some time now. Of course there only two of us. Another idea is if you need to prepare a large quantity of corn, get a large cooler, fill with boiling water, put in corn, close top and in a few minutes, enjoy.
