Corned beef hash anyone?

I saw a can of corned beef hash at the store the other day and it triggered a memory of my dad eating corned beef hash and fried eggs for breakfast. I remember eating it once or twice when I was a kid and it was pretty good as I remember. Anyone else ever eaten this?

It's been a long time but I like it. Unfortunately the salt in it is probably a real risk for seniors.

There is ( or used to be) canned roast beef hash too. Maybe it has less salt.

Yes!!! Have a can in my cupboard right now!! love it with
a couple of eggs...takes me a couple days to eat a whole can
as I slice it.....

Corned Beef Hash has a lot of fat in it, which becomes apparent when your frying it, but unlike bacon from which you pour the left over grease into an empty can, the potatoes in the hash, just suck up all the fat, which then becomes 50% of the meal, but it is tasty.

I'll rotate between a can of CBH or chili each time I go duck hunting which is normally 6-8 times per season......not real picky on the brand name just as long as the cans have easy pull open lids.

My buddy thinks I'm nutz (as he's sitting there eating a cold sausage biscuit) but around 9:30 in the morning when the incoming birds have slowed down I'll reach way under my heavy clothes next to my body and grab the can of now body temp. warm CBH or chili, zip off the lid, dig around in my heavy parka for the spoon and sandwich bag with 8-10 crackers and eat it straight out of the can and wash it down with a cup off hot strong coffee out of my thermos......it's no wonder my belly stays all messed up. :)

🤢 There must be something wrong with me. I can't stand the stuff. My dad loved it sprinkled with vinegar. Yuk. I've tried drowning it in ketchup, tried the vinegar, too. It's hopeless. Ew. Don't like roast beast hash, either. Maybe it's the texture. Whatever, I just don't like it🤮

My mother made the real thing from leftovers, with corned or roast beef, depending. I’ve had the canned stuff and that is better than nothing. But my mother’s .. that was the real deal.
