Couple Hears 'Prowler,' Calls 911, Ends Up Embarrassed

That's a good one. A few years ago, I thought I heard an intruder around 2:00am. I went downstairs to find an opossum staring up at me, hissing. He wasn't the least bit scared of me....or my .45. I went to the kitchen to find some food for him, but when I went back downstairs, he was gone.
He got in through one of those 1/2 doors I used to have, where you can open the whole door or just the top half. He climbed in. After that, I latched both halves of the door.
