We had one once. Mischievous doesn't say the half of it. We kept it in the bathroom at night and one morning he had shredded every towel into strings. He was cute and cuddly though, like in the video, he was always inside our clothes, often down my sleeve with the little face sticking out the bottom. He liked to sneak up on you while you were watching TV and stick that tongue in your ear.
Oh how nice I remember when they were sold in pet stores along with Coatimundis , I assumed both machines of destruction .
That was only destruction you had ?
As you know they are still sold from a few licensed breeders .
Strange question but after sipping the alcohol it did not go ballistic ?Years ago an acquaintance had one. A group of us were sitting on the floor having drinks late one night. The kink scooted around and lapped up the drinks. Cute but scary.
I didn't know they were still sold, this was all fifty years ago before the laws about buying exotic pets got strict.Oh how nice I remember when they were sold in pet stores along with Coatimundis , I assumed both machines of destruction .

I assume alcohol as know they love sweets but if drink alcohol get real mean .
Medusa would know . I never had one , my father wanted one going back decades but my mom did not allow it .
We had small exotics like bushy tailed jerboas , Duprasi , short tail opossum .
Thanks I did not know anyone who had one but remember area pet store sold them and back then info was limited on them , knew only they had sweet tooth and if had alcohol they went crazy until alcohol wore off but imagined as adults they could be aggressive .I didn't know they were still sold, this was all fifty years ago before the laws about buying exotic pets got strict.
Our sweet little guy went through puberty and decided to fight me for control of the kitchen, opening the cabinets to bring out all the food and trying to bite me if I thwarted his plans. We took him to the vet to be fixed, his nurse fell in love and we generouslygave him to her. He lived a nice long life with her and her many dogs in a trailer of chaos.
Yes they can be prone to being alcoholics , lol as weird as that might be .I do recall there was swift action to remove him from the alcohol. How much he actually got I'm not sure. He was already hyper!
