I saw my cousin at church and he said that his wife's father passed away Easter morning. It's sad to have a parent pass, but on a holiday, make it even worse.

I had a neighbor who passed away Christmas Day a few years ago after a long and painful fight with cancer. Her gift that day was to be freed from suffering and pain.

My mother passed two days after Thanksgiving in 2006. Even though it wasn't exactly on the day, I will always associate it with that.

We received a call from Denver about an hour ago....my Brother in Law passed away this evening. It was almost a year ago that my Sister passed, and the BIL has been living in sorrow ever since. At least now, they will hopefully be rejoined.
