Ever since Covid started, people have been looking for someone to blame. Stress & fear have replaced people's ability to think clearly. Some use it to express their own prejudices. After it was "Those selfish, reckless young people who don't care about others," now it's older people. Whose fault will it be next year?
Nothing wrong with being honest & saying, "We don't know squat." Beats the hell out of trying to appear intelligent by throwing out meaningless words to try to impress.
