I have a Chase Freedom card that pays me cash back, so I use it to pay almost every bill. By coincidence, this morning I went through to review my transactions and saw 4 that were with Boost Mobile. I don't have an account with them, so I disputed the charges online and received a message from Chase saying they were closing the account and sending me a new credit card. Then I noticed there was already an email and text from Chase asking if this was a legitimate charge. They were already on top of it before I was.
It is a small inconvenience that I will have to change my credit card with the companies that automatically charge it, but that's nothing compared to what might have happened. I'm very impressed with Chase, although I do know they want to limit their exposure as well.
