I wonder how many become pets, unsteady of going back to their habitat.

There's a lot of them in my neighborhood, they love my trees and I always hear them scampering across my roof. My dog goes after them when they're in the yard, luckily he's not a barker, LOL. My cat jumped up on my back fence once to get one, but he was smaller than the squirrel at the time. I always worry about them getting bit, my dog's nose has been bleeding on more than one occasion.
