Over the weekend I went to Little Cesar's to grab a pizza for us. The young lady behind the counter was wearing a sweatshirt that said "Grandma Camp". So I had to ask. "Camp for grandmas? A camp where grandparents volunteered with the kids?" Apparently a friend of hers has a grandmother who hosts all her grandkids for a week of "Grandma camp". All the kids get to play, have camp fires, do crafts and stuff. She had the sweatshirts made for her older grand kids who help out for the week.

Sounds like fun.

Nice to know that grandma is having kids actually interacting with each other. Using whole words instead of texting, no need for selfies since the other kids are there to see them in person. Playing together becoming a lost social interaction. So many positive factors that grandma is giving those kids.

Huh. I never thought of having t-shirts made. Mine would say Grampa Camp, though.

(I'm in California - sweatshirt season lasts maybe 3 months, and only for a few hours in the evening).
