Cyber Monday

How many more days am I gonna get bombarded with all this Black Friday and Cyber Monday crap in my email?

I was looking for some oldies CD's on Amazon and I put an Everly Brothers album in my cart and then left the site to shop later. When I returned the price of the album increased $5 as it sat there. Henceforth, I avoid Amazon.

I’m not an Amazon pro, but have noticed that if I have something in my Wish List that I don’t act on immediately, the price will go up. If I remove them & check again in a couple of days, the price may be back down.

We pretty much finished our Christmas shopping in October. I've seen a couple of the items we bought, "On Sale" for more than we paid. I'm of the opinion that the stores often jack up the prices during these "big sales".

True enough, @Don M. The Christmas season is when many many stores make up for slower during-the-year sales and make the bulk of their income.

Also good to know that after-Christmas -- and possibly into February -- is when prices come down. At least, that's the way it was years ago. Not sure about online sales anymore.

Just saw commercial for a store that said Black Friday will be extended throughout December.
