The school had quite an exciting week ~ first week of school for kinder and 1st graders.

First, there was a road rage between two mothers dropping off their children. They got into a physical fight. I just can't believe this happened.

Secondly, a very close friend of mine was dropping off her g-niece and somehow stepped on the gas instead of the brake and landed on top of the sidewalk and knocking down the fence. To Uvaldeans, this is exciting stuff. lol

Thirdly, a mother threw her child over the fence; this has been a problem for years though. But, she got in trouble for doing this.

People are always in a hurry. And they are inpatient.

I agree, glad no children were hurt.
One of my nieces teaches in that first wing of classrooms. She said there was a loud BANG.

Mothers throw their kids over the fence is common? What's going on down there?

The parents hate waiting in their car for other cars ahead of them... to drop off their child. I am sure there will be some changes.

Most elementary schools where I reside have policemen present to control the traffic.
