Small,black, palm size, hard to read dials, they’re winning! Yesterday wanted to make a phone call, reached for the closest one, and tried to make it on my Glucometer!

TV remote. doesn't work good for phone either,, which I've watched hubby try a few times.
It's the phone ring tone that gets me.
Lot of times TV phone sounds like our phone. "Honey,, answer the phone."

Yup, Silverfox, the TV remote makes a crummy phone. You punch in a number to call someone, and what do you get? A PBS cooking show on TV about how to cook broccoli. And when there's a phone ringing on TV, try finding the TV mute button on your phone. I have a bunch of remotes which run the garage door to my stereo, DVD, and TV. All of them are black boxes with buttons.
