I spoke with my daughter and she told me again she was asked by the on-line application if she identified with the LGBTQ community. I haven't actually seen this with my own eyes, though...so I was waiting to reply in this thread. Not sure what she would gain by lying to me. I'll try and get her to dig up the form so I can take a look to verify what she is saying.

I’d be a lot less eager to encourage her to game the system and not regard being truthful as important. Of course everyone fudges something at some time but as the parent I wouldn’t want to make it seem like no big deal at all.
