What a cutie he was
So were many of us!
Whenever Crosby & Nash sang, I always wished the song would never end.
I met David Crosby during a less-than-pleasant incident when he crashed his motorcycle in front of my house years ago. He was in terrible pain. It was over 100 outside & we put a pillow under his head while we waited for paramedics because the pavement was burning his head.
He broke his leg & ankle & had other injuries. No helmet.

I have never heard of David Van Cortlandt Crosby.
Wiki tells me that he was an American singer, guitarist, and songwriter. In addition to his solo career, he was a founding member of both the Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash.
Crosby joined the Byrds in 1964. They had their first number-one hit in April 1965 with a cover of "Mr. Tambourine Man" by Bob Dylan.
Well there you go, David Crosby has popped his clogs and I had no idea of who he was.

David Crosby had moved on to CSN by the time they played that concert, but it does feature the great Clarence White on lead guitar.
