Bach-Hasselhoff, who worked as an actress, was found dead at her $2million Hollywood Hills home of a self-inflicted gunshot wound Wednesday night.

Authorities said there was no suicide note left at her home, which is a stone's throw from Universal Studios.

An autopsy will be conducted later on Thursday, according to the medical examiner's office.

Bach-Hasselhoff was married to the Baywatch star, 72, between 1989 and 2006, when she filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

The pair had a contentious divorce, with arguments about spousal support continuing until 2017.

They shared two daughters, 32-year-old Hayley and 34-year-old Taylor.

I can think of a number of reasons the wife of a celebrity would go into despair over unfixable aging and commit suicide when husband is in a business where much younger, fresh females are everywhere.........competition??

I can't disagree with your post. The world is not kind. I've never been attractive. But if someone is and time gets them and the world treats them different. Circumstances are not know, she had two daughters. They must be devastated.

I'm in Miami and though chauvinistic of me in these PC times I will say there are women who will chase that dollar .

My neighbor a young lawyer has a new BMW and I told him either he went over my taxes for free of course as I enjoy doing creative taxes or I would tell his wife that due to his new car lots of women are pulling up next to him trying to chat with him .

I made him an offer he could not refuse .

Being a Woman is simply to much , to much work , to much pressure , glue that holds family together .

I'm a man granted some might say a poor excuse for one , lol but one nevertheless who has looked like Peter Boyle since being 21 and though wasn't thrilled truth it in no way did it hamper a thing but women simply can not win and as chauvinistic as I am and dense I could see this decades ago .
 
The beauty and curse of film.

You can be forever captured in your prime of youth. But that's how most remember you...until they see the aged version of you...and it doesn't compare.

When I was 10 years old in 1976, most of my heroes/ celebrity icons were in their 30's. So now as I approach the age of 60, most of them are either passed away or into their 90's.

I still believe though, it's a wonderful thing to be forever captured at your best.

A case of man taking advantage of the fact of there being stupid women who will mess with a married man for financial gain. And the male married fall guy sucker who falls for it is blackmailed by the knowing of it guy taking advantage?

well c'mon be fair... there's probably 35 years between those 2 pictures...

that said she's clearly had work done on her face.. but from the neck down she looks/ed a good deal older than 62... not to disparage any female.. because we all get old.. and if you live in a hot country then you get older quicker very often....t

Yes and many marriages here fall apart due to just that .

I am sorry to read this but you know it happens often .

One of my jokes which I was told I had to stop using was " Am I the only man in Miami over 60 who thinks we should date / marry women our age ? " then I go into it but even the intro question here was problematic .

Again sorry about your situation but men get to a certain age they think by going younger women they can recapture youth , etc and men with money have a history of doing this NOT all but enough .

please I know all this...it's all been discussed on here ( my situation) for the last 3 years.... I just don't want to be discussing that again..I'll have nightmares tonight again..

Nightmares not so much if you trust in positive outcomes and not dwell on, nor fear the worst. ❤️

Sometimes it's better not to mess with aging or make one self something they are not. An example would be body building-have to maintain it and like a fat person the skin is stretched and when there is no muscle or fat to fill underneath it looks. old. Same for cosmetic procedures because again stretching skin in many cases hit a point where it ages and looks old. Shoudn't go for extremes
