David McCallum Passes Away at 90.

I remember that! They did it real quickly, with no further commentary; just moved to the next scene. You either got it or you didn't. :)
I remember that. They literally slipped or maybe even snuck it in. I think it was an episode where he was caring for his sick mother. They said the quiet part outloud.

I didn't find out until I saw the In Memory of on the NCIS epi last night. I thought I missed the news over the last few weeks or something so I checked and was stunned to find out it was yesterday.

My first man crush 😂😂😂. I fell in love with David McCallum in "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." as Illya Kuryakin. It's also round this time that Papa told me that someone similar was in my future. The second time, I saw the actor was in "Mosquito Squadron" Mosquito Squadron - Wikipedia

I eventually met my future Scottish husband. Secretly, I still held a torch to David McCallum all my life. I'd just recently found out he'd played Ducky in NCIS. I'll be looking into viewing this series. May you rest in peace...

So talented…born in Glasgow,he came to live in London from age 3 … his parents were both musicians. His father was the first violinist for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London; his mother, Dorothy Dorman, was a cellist.

David himself attended the Royal Academy of Music where he learned , piano, violin and the oboe.
He also released several instrumental music albums of his own compositions, the most well known being The Edge…

RIP: David (not only the man from U.N.C.L.E. ... but one of many talents)

Yes, RIP .

Always remember his portrayal in the Outer Limits, The Sixth Finger episode.

The man from U.N.C.L.E. was fun but also seriously cool, and the partnership between Napoleon and Illya showed that humanity could overcome politics…
