For those forum members that observe the outdated and ridiculous custom, be sure to set your time keeping devices AHEAD one hour this Saturday night or you'll be late for things for a while.

I wish we could stay at one time year round. I know its good for folks out working the fields and cows as I have friends and family members that do those jobs. But I am satisfied with the time right now.

Nearly 8 months per year are DST.

British Columbia voted for DST year round. Covid and sitting of the legislature has delayed the implementation.

National Boundary Time Zones do not change simply because you spring forward and move back an hour every year. It's simply an energy saving trick.

We don't spring forward or back in Arizona so we are in Mountain Time zone one half of the year and Pacific time zone the other half of the year.

What I meant was, the BOUNDARIES, as in the map here, do not change. You may observe Pacific TZ one half, but "Geographically" AZ remains the same, inside the MTZ.

Daylight Savings was a much bigger problem when we were working than it is now that we are retired, Around our house we just turn it over to the dogs. They have enough common sense to know when it is time to get up.
