I use this site frequently for all dates and times I'm looking for

20 March 23 for Spring to arrive when Mother Earth renews all. Lambing season, Daffodils and seeing the new buds on trees. Spring is amazing!

So around the 26 March 23 for Springing Ahead.
Our Ewes have already given birth 2 weeks ago.. and my daffodils are in full bud now... altho' they might get killed off by the predicted snow for tonight and tomorrow

Here's a pic I took a couple weeks ago.. first lambs of the season..

Thanks, that is an interesting website, here is something I found on it:

The Earth does not move at a constant speed in its elliptical (oval) orbit, so the seasons are not of equal length. On average, spring lasts for 92.8 days in the Northern Hemisphere and 89.8 days in the Southern Hemisphere.

Surprised me, turns out our spring and summers are a few days longer in the northern hemisphere, fall and winter are longer in the southern.

You'd think at the vernal equinox day and night would be equal all over the world, but in my locale it's St. Patrick's Day where the day and night are equal (according to an almanac I have). After SPD, the days are longer than the nights. At the autumnal equinox, we get that on September 26th.

..here in the Northern Hemisphere it's on Saturday September 23rd at 7.49am

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate it so much. It will be dark again in the morning. Leave the time alone. But they won't. Too many people do like it so I think I'm in the minority on this one.

We may be in the minority, but you're not alone... I wish they'd just keep standard time year round the way it's supposed to be. There are so many things that are a lot more important for lawmakers to do than trying to "save" an hour of daylight that isn't really saving anything at all.

What? Already? Really, I don't know why they bother.

Thank goodness I live in a place where they don't do Daylight Savings. It's light in the summer and dark in the winter, so there's no point.
I don't like daylight saving time at all. It is unhealthy for our 'biological watch'. In Europe it starts at the last sunday in March. My wife and I need at least four weeks adapting to it. And it doesn't save anything. In the morning it is dark again and in the evening people are much more driving around with their cars.

Hopefully the USA will stop it this year. I know there's a lot of people who are tired of bouncing back and forth on this. Me too.
Really hard on shift workers. I worked 12 hour shifts for 12 years and usually worked Friday-Sunday. Hated that spring forward. Then even when the time goes back your system thinks it's time to leave work but you got another hour.

I've heard increase in heart attacks also with the time change.
