Daylight Savings Time

We will need to reset our clocks this coming Sunday....November 1st. I also like to use DST change to do a couple of other "semi-annual" tasks. I check the batteries in all of our smoke detectors and give my computer a good cleaning.

I did the computer cleaning today...powered it off, opened the case and gave the internals a good cleaning with canned air and the vacuum cleaner. The case has good ventilation, and uses large 120MM fans, so it does pick up a fair amount of lint and dust over a 6 month period.

It's an unofficial holiday at my house. We don't care for daylight savings time, but then again we're up quite early.

Anyone know the current reason that we still change back to standard time for four months?

You should think about cleaning the hard drive too of unused file. I accumulate about a gig per month from updates etc.
