The Daytona 500 finally finished after a very long rain delay and the winner was
Dale Earnhardt Jr! He was so very excited with his win and I was happy for him.

I was sleeping when the race ended but checked it out on computer at 5 am this morning.
 
Pappy, I'm glad you caught the last 12 laps. I saw the last 3 laps on nascar's web site.
It was nail biting time with Denny Hamlin and Brad Keselowski so close behind Dale.
I like both of those drivers but it was time for Dale to win and it was when the number 3 car
was brought back.
I hope next week's race is not rain delayed!
 
Was checking throughout the day and, naturally, just missed the finish. Turned on the toob only to catch Dale Jr. whooping it up . . . so, gathered he had won. Don't know how Patrick did. I'm always pulling for her.
 
Unfortunately Danica Patrick was involved in a 13 car crash on lap 145.
She took a hard hit to the wall but from what I read she is okay. Too bad because she
was doing so well.
