Hello All,
I have joined this forum simply because I want to find out if there is universal frustration over the conduct of these Supplemental Insurance companies. Of course we live in a world of constant restriction of freedom of speech and it becomes increasingly difficult to object or voice frustration. My frustration is the constant harassment of my supplemental insurance company with daily calls and the litter put into my mailbox by Aetna.
While Aetna is my frustration it has become clear they are not the only company doing this as I have researched other companies for the next enrollment in an attempt to put a stop to the harassment.
With my wife and I having the same supplemental through Aetna, they have delivered one full grown tree to each of us one day at a time through our mailbox. ITS RIDICULOUS! If that isn't bad enough, the daily calls to try and get into my home for an assessment has steam coming from my ears. Hmm, isn't that part of my medical team I deal with responsibility. (1 My physician 2 My Vascular Dr. 3. My Heart Dr. 4. My ENT Dr. and 5. My Oncology Dr. ) They are very well informed on my status and I keep every follow-up visit.
So, with a little investigation, I have come to understand one disturbing trend (to me anyway) what all supplementals are doing, and that is trying to get into people homes for an "Assessment". AN ASSESSMENT OF WHAT?
I am a retired automotive engineer that worked with BMW supplied product development, and that is in as Bumpers and Fenders for the X5, X6, X7s. and the point is I am not a gullible idiot. So, my forum's purpose is to initiate a conversation to understand why these federally contracted supplemental companies want into our homes so badly. I will make no secret about the fact that I am wondering about this suspicious activity. I will probably catch a lot of backlash on this, but don't care. When some organization becomes hell bent to get into my home, I am going to get obstinate and want to know why.
So without really saying why I think this is going on, I am anxious to hear various thoughts.
