Death by chocolate

This morning I was minding my own business, sitting in front of the TV, just about to finish up a nice cup of hot chocolate, when a spider appeared right in front of my eyes causing them to almost cross. I raised my cup up to meet that spider and it drowned in the hot chocolate.

Now, we've all heard the phrase "Death by chocolate". It's even been used as a name of a desert.
But I bet you've never actually heard of anyone using chocolate to bump off a spider.

Why would you kill a spider? Every time you kill a spider, you guarantee that you will have more bugs in your house. I prefer a few spiders to a lot of bugs.

No. There were only a few sips left and the hot chocolate was only warm.

I agree. If it had been anywhere but at the tip of my nose, I would have sent him packing out the door.
