Hi June, thanks I forgot about Dragnet which aired on NBC from 1952-1970,he was on the show from 1967-1970 Sue

I did my own personal investigation into her death. I spoke with a lot LAPD detectives via phone and they were very suspicious as well. Too much to tell here, but the bottom line here is that they just didn’t have enough evidence to bring charges. I spoke with a fellow by the name of Gates, who I think was chief of the detectives.

I read not along ago that the case was reopened, but only was going to be for a short time. Probably until the money runs out. Evidently, Wagner had accused Woods and Walken of having an affair and he made the decision to kill her. That’s the basis of the theory for having the investigation. Like he was perfectly clean.

I have my notes downstairs in my office from all the phone calls we shared. He wouldn’t give me a lot of information until I faxed him my credentials. It was then that he was willing to give me some background information. Do you remember who the DA was at that time?

Gates had told me they really wanted to charge him, if only it was for involuntary homicide, but the DA wouldn’t touch it. That was almost the same story I got when I spoke to the detectives that investigated Kennedy and Chappaquiddick. The DA wouldn’t touch it. I was told by a detective (I can’t remember the name) that they were told not to push Teddy. I’ve been in that position. The DA runs the show and you have to do as he wishes. I think they did cite him, but without my notes, I’m not sure how far they went.
