Deep Fried Mars Bars, are they still being sold?

I've heard that the best way to deep fry them is to freeze them first then dip them in thick egg batter, before dropping them in hot oil.. and they will come out still frozen inside

Never had one and not really seen them around but then I don't do carnivals like I did when the boys were young.
That is where I mostly saw them sold.

apparently they're very nice.. However..as I've never liked mars bars in the first place...wayyyy to sweet for me./ I've never been tempted to try a deep fried one...

I believe what we call a Mars Bar..in the USA it's called a Milky Way.....

In the UK & Australia a Milky Way is this.... a fondant filling surrounded by chocolate no caramel

No they haven't stopped selling them.. they're in fact one of their biggest sellers

The Mars bars I always liked had almonds in them.
I'm definitely familiar with Milky Way (both types) and 3Musketeers, too!

Somewhere I read chocolate (in general, not specific bars) is different in the UK, and people from the UK think American chocolate is awful. Any idea what the difference is?

even in the little corner sweet & tobacco shops they still have them... this is a photo I took... you can see the mars bar just behid the snickers bars

yes I do the difference is very marked... American is chocolate is horrible to us..
