Dehydration

Water is Great...depending upon Where you are. Some locales water systems are so "neglected", that they have to add an excessive amount of chemicals to make the water "drinkable"...and it sure messes with the "taste". Our local water is very good, but when we go to some of the cities, we pack some bottles of water in a cooler.
Alcoholic drinks, and soda pop, especially that "diet" stuff, are certainly Not good...especially as we age....so we try to stay with plain water, fruit juice, and the morning cup of coffee.

There were two incidents in 2007 in CA where Silver Lake and the Ivanhoe
Reservoir were found to be high with Bromate, a cancerous substance, the
lakes were drained and cleaned, then refilled, to prevent the production of
more Bromate, 400,000 black plastic balls were poured into Ivanhoe, to stop
the sunlight getting through and causing the reaction, Silver lake was taken
out of the water supply chain permanently.
