Do you still believe in "free thought" or not ?I can't get behind this idea. If I created a universe, I wouldn't let it run amuck. And, as said repeatedly, I personally could not respect such a creator.

Indeed, all who desire to live godly lives in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil men and imposters go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.…None of us living know the truth so why not just let everyone believe whatever helps them get through life? So long as they don't do any harm to others or try to impose their beliefs on others, it doesn't really matter what anyone believes.

At least it would violate having "free thought" ?
So The Creator, in His Perfect, Infinite, Unchanging Wisdom and Total Knowledge,
gave us humans "free thought". We get to choose. And if we choose to harm another person, "free thought" allows us to think that way, and as criminals likewise do not obey the laws or regulations or have an obligation in their "free thought" to do what is good or right, people get hurt and killed, like the doctors and pharmakeia and wars for centuries get away with millions of times worldwide, since their thoughts and actions/free will/ are still possible.
You are the one who claims to want "free thought".You have gone off the wall and I will not engage.
What I mean by free thought is the conclusions I have drawn by processing information from multiple sources, but not conclusions that resulted from indoctrination. (Just Jeff went spinning off on this and I disengaged.)Free thought? Does that mean original thinking without outside influence? That's not free thinking, it is simply processing information from third-party sources and claiming them as your own. No one has 100% freewill given the multiple influences that guide our decisions every living moment of our life. Free will is an allusion
