Denture partial or implants?

I just lost a huge filling on the one tooth I have left on the right side. Nothing left, so it must come out. I’m 83, don’t have insurance or a big bank account, so I’m up in the air as to what to do so I can chew my food. Left side not much better. Don’t know what options are open to me now.

You could get a partial .. it's not difficult to get used to.

Yes, that 4-6 month wait is for "Osseointegration" to take place. How's that for a fancy word? Bone has to grow into the screw threads in the implant to anchor it before the crown can be installed.

I wondered why it took so long, but never researched it. Thanks for the information.
