sounds like you've stolen mine !Mine is like a comedian, a philosopher, a theologian, a psychologist, and a wise *ss, all sitting around having a dinner conversation, and none of them knows what the hell they're talking about, yet insist on being heard. Meanwhile there is a jukebox in the corner that seems to never run out of songs to play. Never a dull moment in there.
It's illegal to kill bobcats. If I told you, I'd have to kill you.![]()
We do only have the common lynx. In Germany killing them is illegal too. But in the "Bayerischer Wald" in Southeast Germany (Border region to the Czech Republic) it happens nonetheless. It's illegal to kill bobcats.
Wow, I would think Bobcats and Lynx would keep the population of rodents down. I don't think they are protected in all areas though. Generally, they don't pose a threat to humans unless cornered. Mountain lions would be more worrisome. Some things don't always make sense in life though. We do only have the common lynx. In Germany killing them is illegal too.
Zuletzt fand man vier abgetrennte Vorderläufe."
(Conservationists are trying to reintroduce lynx to the Bavarian Forest. But for some time now, the big cats have been disappearing or being found dead. Most recently, four severed front legs were found.) Translation: deepl.com
It is quite sure that some people know the lynx killers, but there is a wall of silence.
