Describe your first job

Starting as a toddler, I worked on my parents farm and the grandparents farm up through my teen years.

My first job is an adult was a receptionist taking payments at a finance company. I hated that job and thankfully only had to put up with it for about a year.
 

I hated my first job and was happy to be fired after the first week. It was in a garment factory where I did "piece work". I wasn't fast enough. No problem, I was only 16 or 17 (still living at home), so didn't need that job to pay the bills. The valuable lesson I learned was that I was not cut out (pardon the pun) for factory work. :)
