News outlets in the U.K. are warning about a serious side effect caused by taking some of the more common...and heavily advertised, Diabetic drugs....Forxiga, Invocana, and Jardiance. If you are taking any of these drugs, read this report.

The U.S. news media may not be in any big hurry to disparage some of their more profitable advertisers.
 

I'm sticking with my normal insulin management. From hearing the side eff mentioned on the commercials for the new drugs I don't know why anyone in right mind would even try any of them, unless totally nothing else worked for them.
 

My BIL takes Jardiance and it has been the only thing that has helped him. He has gotten great results. Of course he is monitored very closely by his doc. The only problem they have encountered so far is the cost. But with coupons they have been able to afford it so far. My pharmacist daughter says that hopefully after big Pharm gets their money there will be a generic that will make it affordable for everybody. Of course that's about 10 years down the road.

I feel the same way about Humira , for psoriasis . I'm sure there are many others.
 
I'm not sure if it's the drugs or our immune systems weakening.

We are becoming more and more like the canaries in the coal mine.

Very scary world we live in.
