Years ago I saw a story on TV about this. I don't know what made me think of it today, but I'm curious about your ideas.

Michael Abney-Hastings, or "King Michael", was a British-born self-proclaimed republican who made international headlines in 2004 when a Channel 4 documentary suggested that King Edward IV was conceived illegitimately. It said the crown should have been passed down the Plantagenet line – ending at Abney-Hastings.

Story is widely known.

There are several claimants, many with much better title that the current bunch of of Germans. The Stuarts and the Plantaganets are still alive and well, not to mention the Hapsburgs. Anne's Hapsburg lip was quite pronounced when she was younger.

Similar story that the real Prince of Wales, descended from Llewellyn, lives in a three bedroom semi in Chester.

Being Welsh, that's one I believe!

Blood, blood, blood. We are all so obsessed with the blood lines.
Why not hat size? Like Cinderella. If the crown fits, its yours.

Truly a fairy tale.

In British history, if you can take it and keep it it's yours.

Best if you kill all your relations to be on the safe sude!
