I wondered about that. Hold on a sec... I'll check my tablet. Yep, on tablet, the "latest posts" is underneath the thread listing, not the side.

The screen display changed, but I have not changed my device. I only go to SF on my laptop.

There's no change on mine.
The Latest posts are on the bottom of the page, not the side.

Clicking New Posts only takes me to New Posts, which always occupied the entire screen on my device.

Probably so. And the further I go down the page, the right side is just wasted blank space, since the actual listing of latest posts isn't long enough to take up the entire right side.

By the way, one way to avoid circulation problems in the legs for old folks, is to walk 4,000 steps inside one's house right after breakfast. I started to have circulation problems as well when I turned 80. Now at age 91 since I started to walk those 4,000 steps every morning, all pain and bad feelings in my legs have disappeared totally.

It's possible, as I age, I may not be able to walk those daily 4,000 steps. Then I will retreat to just walking 3,000 steps every morning. As I age, I may be forced to keep reducing first down to 3,000 steps daily, then to 2,000 steps and then to 1,000 steps.

I believe daily walking increases health for the elderly. I do sit for a few minutes on a chair during the walk so as to prevent breathing problems and exhaustion.

I've just had this happen after being here for a few years. Whether I am logged in or not, the Latest Posts list is showing up in a long list on the left hand side under both the thread I'm reading or the list of forums.

When I click on a thread and want to go to the last post, this no longer happens. Instead it takes me to the long list of Latest Posts and I have to click and click to move back up the page to find the last post in a thread.

I always set my page Zoom size to 125 or 150 so I don't need to wear glasses. I reduced the zoom to 100 which is too small for my eyes and the Latest Posts then showed up on the right hand side.

Some years ago out in the web, websites became non-responsive, which meant I had to adjust my Zoom for each website as the sites didn't load properly as they did before google did away with the responsiveness. That's what I read the explanation was for the lack of consistency across sites.

Why Latest Posts are moving around where I don't want or need them, I don't know. Wish it went back to the way it was yesterday, LP not on the screen unless I selected it.

Yes, I see the latest posts on the right side of every page. I find it distracting and would rather have it the way it was.
