Puffed Wheat was the nastiest cereal I ever tasted. In commercials, they claimed that Puffed Wheat and Puffed Rice were "shot from guns". I don't know why. Puffed Wheat sure tasted like it. I never liked what I call the "baby or children cereals". Lucky Charms, Captain Crunch, Fruit Loops, Fruity Pebbles, and all of the others. Then again, those cereals were not around when I was a child. I'm forever grateful for that. Breakfast cereals should be more on the healthy side, not gooey sweet crap. Sort of like Pop Tarts. I like the unfrosted ones, not the frosted ones.

Not far from the truth!

I remember when the local Wegman’s had one of these mesmerizing rice cake machines.

You could hear it popping from almost anywhere in the store.

It didn’t make the rice cakes taste any better.
😉🤭😂

I don't eat cereal. I love oatmeal on a cold winter's morning. Sometimes I have McCann's Irish quick oats mixed with peanut butter, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, and topped with a dash of milk. Tastes just like a peanut butter cookie.

Nope!

My favorite was Frosted Flakes but we usually had some off brand budget version of corn flakes.

I remember the Kellogg’s Variety Pack and the perforations on the box that turned it into a cereal bowl.
Me too! The sugar coating made it tasty. I also liked Cheerios.
That stuff is all junk, which I quit eating decades ago. But they sure were tasty!

Currently eat raisin bran. We used to have shredded wheat and plain ole cornflakes. We'd usually sliced up peaches or strawberries for those.
