Your horse rescue had to be a similar fulfilling experience. Good for you. The dedication it takes is amazing. Particularly since the financial rewards are so puny. We just couldn't make a go of it financially, but so glad to have been able to pursue the opportunity.I managed a decent sized horse rescue for more than 10 years. At one time I had the care and feeding of 30 head, including my own. I too am well acquainted with the shovel. Some of our horses went to therapy centers from here.
