Nothing wrong with forgetting quite where you're up to as far as dates goes, because lets face it, before modern times, when most people could not read or write, or the gregorian calender drawn up, almost all the world got up not knowing what day it might be, and somehow functioned regardless.

Sometimes I wonder ! I think when you retire it’s easy to lose track of the days, weekends and Bank Holidays all seem like just another day, not that I’m complaining

oh goodness I have even cooked a roast dinner --thinking its sunday 'but it was Saturday ' it is strange how you forget a day'

Yes, there was a bank holiday this past week come to think of it..I wonder if that's what did it...

Yes I have had that happen. Especially on the weekends. I will turn on the tv expecting to see the morning news and then remember its Saturday and the will not be on for another hour!

Yes I lose track of days but I have this computer and an Apple Watch and I can always ask my Google Home what day it is. Hee hee.

I sometimes have to check my digital watch to determine the day of the month for check-writing inscription and to ensure keeping appointments. Time as so defined by man is an artificial construct, anyways...

A year before I retired in 2011,I bought a 'retirement clock'
The 2nd hand shows the days of the week,so I know what day it is.If the clock had stopped&I didn't realized it need a new battery then I get confused LOL!
