Did you ever want to say this?

No. Not the "big time" part, anyway. And, generally speaking, if I want to say it, I do. But I don't like the phrase Bite Me. Makes me wince. I prefer various other phrases (it would be improper and/or offensive to give an example).
Oh, so sorry for sayin Bite me. No offence intended friend!

Nope, I would not say that, like Murrmurr, I don't like the phrase.
If I don't agree, I will state my opinion, than not engage in the back and forth tripe. No one is going to change my opinion, and I am sure I will not change theirs if they are that adamant.
I will give a good stare, and walk away.

I'm guessing between the ages of 12 and 18 I probably used the phrase "bite me" dozens a times a week. Usually followed by other less polite words.

As an adult? No, now it's more likely "you're full of shit" or " you better dial it back"

I was just stating if anyone wanted to say it... doesn't matter if they will say it... it's in the mind only dear.

Bite Me is generally not used as the kind of put down that F-you would be. It's more humorous.

In my experience it's generally employed in this kind of situation:
"Hey, it's 100° out. How about if you run to the store and get us all popsicles while we stay cool in the pool?"
The appropriate response? "Bite me..."
