Did You Have Your Own Newspaper as a kid?

My kids had a monthly newsletter they did with their grandfather. Of course it was a lot easier due to computers. But I see old shows on tv with kids doing a newspaper using an old manual typewriter.

My older brothers would not let me fool with their typewriter and they even rigged it up once to give a small shock as my oldest brother was an electronics wiz.

Thanks for the reminder! I did! I used to make newsletters, and faithfully drew the columns, all by hand, had no typewriter yet. As I was a 'perfectionist' it probably took me a long time to get it just the way I wanted to.

No kidding ! I did the same thing and but had forgotten all about it. I used my dad's typewriter. And I have vague memories of doing a class newsletter with others when I was in grade school.
