Did you marry out of your childhood home?

Most of us did before the sexual revolution got into full swing. After that it seeme that everyone played "house" before actually getting married, and some many times before settling down with the "right" one. You know a senior of my vintage lived with mom until the fateful day, but what is your story?

I was stupid and got pregnant at 18 and married. So I was still in my parent's home.

I was going to answer this and I can't. I can only remember bits of the wedding and none of them are him or where it was. I only remember my dress. yay!!!! That mfr has been totally deleted out of that memory. Awesome!
So it looks like I can't answer this :)

BlunderWoman, you really don't remember? Com'on...:D

Nope I really don't remember & I'm nit going to push my brain to remember nasty things it seems to have spit out :)

That's what my brain does sometimes. It turns some memories I don't like into bits and garbles. I always consider it I gift when I notice it.

I was still living at home when I got married. I think a person should live with their partner first before getting wed.

I remember my first wedding day as a total nightmare. 18 - preggers - 6 months out of high school. I was in total panic and did NOT want to go to the courthouse for the small ceremony. If I hadn't been pregnant I wouldn't have gone through with it.

That's unfortunate, how did the next one turn out?
