Health insurance costs vary from state to state. Some states it is FRREE! I think that Florida and Texas are free. When I lived in N.C. it was around $150 a month; moved to Wi. and it dropped to $53 a month; here in Tx. it costs me zero.

Wow, seriously? I may have to move, then. I'm paying nearly $500/month (I'm self-employed so have to cover the entire cost myself), and that's with some assistance from the Marketplace, which I'm pretty sure I'll have to repay come April 2026 because I think my income increased.

Health insurance costs vary from county to county within many states. Also some coverages that are available in THIS county, are not available in THAT county.

One has to be careful of that word “free”. While the cost of the insurance may be zero the benefits you get from it may also be zero or next to it. or the deductible is so high it’s almost not worth paying for the premium.

I have Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee and it cost me. But I also know when I walk into any doctors office or a hospital they’re going to see me and accept my insurance.

Health insurance coverage is always buyer beware. Do the research because free isn’t always free.

This year I had to give up Blue Cross Blue Shield for the first time in nearly 30 years. I couldn't afford even their cheapest plan.

I hope to sign up with them again soon.

True but sad...
